WALLA WALLA, Wash. — Washington State men's and women's cross country teams continued its fall schedule with its second meet of the weekend Saturday morning at the Whitworth Open from Veterans Memorial Golf Course.
Senior native of Maple Valley, Wash., Ethan Martin, posted the top time for the Cougars in the men's 8k as he finished 23rd overall in 25:31.7. The time was a a 30-second improvement from his previous career-best in 8k races. Martin opened the race in the top-20 of the field through the first 4k, and eventually closed with a final 2k-split of 6:26.
