Cougars Collect Three Wins But Sink to Utah

Salt Lake City, Utah – The Washington State Women's Swim team clinched first place in three races but dropped the conference dual meet on Friday, falling to Utah 156-99 at Ute Natatorium.

Despite sinking to Utah, the Cougars shined in multiple events.

In her first clash with the Utes of the season, Noelle Harvey began the afternoon in style by capturing a first-place finish in the 1000 free touching the wall at 10:25.95 and tallying nine points for the Cougs. Harvey grabbed her second win of the night in the 500 free clocking in her fastest time as a Coug at 5:03.
