LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Washington State volleyball (1-0) hit .424 as a team (52-10-99) and swept last season's Horizon League Champions, Wright State (0-1), as the Cougars won, 3-0 (25-13, 25-16, 25-21), in their first of three matches at this weekend's Cardinal Classic at the L&H Federal Credit Union Arena. WSU has now won seven of its last eight season openers and will now turn its attention to a Saturday match vs. fourth-ranked Louisville (0-1).
