Cougar Tennis Receives ITA Academic Honors

PULLMAN, Wash. - The Washington State women's tennis team has been honored with the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Academic Award for its academic achievement during the 2020-21 season. Additionally, student-athletes Michaela Bayerlova, Maddie Egan, Yang Lee and Savanna Ly-Nguyen were also recognized for their academic accomplishments with the ITA Scholar-Athlete Award.

During the 2020-21 season, the Cougars earned a 3.41 team grade point average. The Cougar tennis team earned the ITA Academic Award for the 15th consecutive season. The ITA All-Academic Team award is open to any ITA program that has a team grade point average of 3.
