STOCKTON, Calif. – The Washington State women's soccer team defeated the Pacific Tigers, 2-1, in a come-from-behind win to conclude the 2025 season. Cougar freshmen Keira Mitchell and Journey Middleborn delivered the goals for WSU, while fellow freshman Isabelle Wright delivered the assist.
The Cougars started on their heels, defending from the opening whistle. Senior goalkeeper Zora Standifer was called on in the first 30 seconds to make a save, one of six in the match. Pacific found a gap in the defense late in the fifth minute, scoring from the edge of the box, the third-fastest goal conceded by WSU this year.
