Cougar Baseball 2018 Season Review

ABOUT WASHINGTON STATE
Washington State posted a 16-33-1 overall record in 2018 including a 8-21-1 in Pac-12 Conference play. Offensively the Cougars were led by outfielder Blake Clanton who earned All-Pac-12 honorable mention after hitting .350 and 35 RBI while lefthander Scotty Sunitsch also earned All-Pac-12 honorable mention after recording team-highs of six wins and 74 strikeouts. The Cougar pitching staff recorded a pair of no-hitters this season for the first time since 1976 and the defense was fourth in the Pac-12 in double plays turned (46).
