JURUPRA VALLEY, Calif. – Fifth-year senior Nicklaus Chiam sits in a tie for sixth-place to lead the Washington State men's golf team after the first day of competition at The Joust Tournament hosted by Cal Baptist. The Cougars will resume the tournament's second round in seventh place after play was suspended due to darkness on Monday, Feb. 22.

Chiam was approaching his final hole of play in the second round at the Goose Creek Golf Club when play suspended. The Singapore native ended his first day at The Joust at +5 to sit in a tie for sixth place on the player leaderboard.
