In Case You Missed It
PULLMAN, Wash. – A dominant final five minutes turned a close game into a comfortable win at home for Washington State (4-4) which opened its three-game home stand with a 72-55 win over Idaho State (5-2) Friday night. After seeing their double-digit lead shrink to just one in the opening minute of the fourth, the Cougs turned it on from the outside when Borislava Hristova hit the first of her two triples in the quarter to kick off a huge fourth quarter for the Cougs. Hristova would score 10 of her game-high 16 in the final 10 minutes of the contest to lead the Cougs on a 14-2 closing kick that would bury the Bengals.
