Brooks-Johnson Wins Pentathlon at Cougar Indoor

PULLMAN, Wash. -- Washington State’s Alissa Brooks-Johnson won the women’s pentathlon and led a one-two-three Cougar finish Friday during the first day of the Cougar Indoor meet.

Brooks-Johnson, a junior from Doty, Wash., scored a career-best 4,101 points, third-best in school history and currently ranked 12th-best nationally. The 2015 Pac-12 outdoor heptathlon champion opened the five-event competition Friday afternoon with a PR time in the 60m hurdles of 8.81 seconds.
