Aron Baynes re-ups with the Celtics

WSU Cougar alum Aron Baynes will once again be serving as a valuable role player for coach Brad Stevens and the Boston Celtics. Shams Charania of The Athletic was the first to report that Baynes has opted into a $5.4 million salary for next season. The 32 year-old Australian generally gives Boston around 16 productive minutes each outing. In his second season with the franchise he averaged 5.6 points and 4.7 rebounds per game.

In other WSU hoops alumni news forward Robert Franks is in the midst of working out for NBA in preparation for the upcoming NBA draft.
