NORMAN, Okla. – Washington State men's golf rising-senior, AJ Armstrong has been named a Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar, the organization announced Wednesday.
Armstrong completed his junior season in 2017-18, earning Pac-12 All-Academic First Team honors for the second-straight year. Continuing his excellence on the course and in the classroom, Armstrong ended his junior year with a 3.89 GPA in accounting. Armstrong became just the sixth Cougar in program history to earn multiple first team awards. On the course, Armstrong put together a solid season for WSU as he played in all 12 tournaments with his top finish of the season coming at the Itani Quality Homes Collegiate where he finished tied for fifth.
