LEXINGTON, Ky. (December 14, 2023) — Washington State senior setter Argentina Ung capped her season earning AVCA All-America Honorable Mention, the American Volleyball Coaches Association announced Wednesday.
Ung joined Cougar teammate and fifth-year senior middle blocker Magda Jehláu0159ová on the All-American teams after Jehláu0159ová became the first Washington State women's volleyball student-athlete in program history to achieve multiple first-team All-America honors after being named to the first team. It is just the fourth time in program history that multiple Cougars earned All-America honors (1996, 2018, 2021) in the same season.
