PULLMAN, Wash. – Washington State men's basketball freshman Ace Glass was named the West Coast Conference Freshman of the Week, Monday by the conference, after his record-setting performance at the 2025 Maui Invitational.
Glass, a true freshman, broke the WSU freshman single-game scoring record, scoring 40 points against Arizona State in the Maui Invitational semifinals. Glass became the first Cougar freshman to earn weekly conference honors since former Coug Reuben Chinyelu earned Pac-12 Freshman of the Week, February 26, 2024.
Glass became the sixth D-I player to eclipse 40 points in a single game this season and the first freshman to break 40 points.
