PULLMAN, Wash. (October 12, 2023) – Washington State's Iman Isanovic (Volleyball) and Dean Janikowski (Football) were named the Academic Services Student-Athletes of the Month for September, 2023.
Isanovic, a graduate transfer from Arizona State, owns a 4.0 GPA while working towards a master's degree in political science. The native from Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina is the Pac-12 Conference active leader in career kills (1,593) and paces the fourth-ranked Cougars with 3.41 kills-per-set while hitting a career-best .309. Prior to WSU, Isanovic was a three-time All-Pac-12 selection, a 2021 Academic All-American and two-time CoSIDA Academic All-District honoree.
