PULLMAN, Wash. (April 24, 2024) – Washington State's Jack Lee (Baseball) and Sarah Skovgaard-Bils (Women's Golf) were named the Academic Services Student-Athletes of the Month for March 2024.
Lee, a senior lefthander from Sydney, Australia, owns a 3.49 GPA while majoring in strategic communications with a focus on public relations. Lee, who transferred from CSU Bakersfield prior to the 2022 season was named to the Pac-12 Conference Spring Academic Honor Roll last season and has appeared in 19 games for the Cougars during the 2022 and 2024 seasons. Lee has battled back from an injury that forced him to miss the 2023 season, this season Lee has appeared in seven games and recorded three strikeout in six innings, recorded the final out of the March 8 win over Utah, pitched scoreless innings at Gonzaga April 9 and struck out two in 1.
