The Trent Williams saga has continued on into the 2019 regular season as expected. Before Week 2’s game against the Dallas Cowboys, there was some hope that Trent Williams could return to the Washington Redskins. He didn’t, and the offensive line once again had issues blocking in his absence.
As NFL Week 3 draws nearer, there is a chance that he could report this week. As ESPN’s Adam Schefter pointed out in a recent article, Williams has already lost millions by holding out. So, his return could be imminent. But as has been the case with this saga, anything could happen.
