The Washington Redskins have maintained a firm stance of idleness since it was first revealed that veteran offensive tackle Trent Williams was holding out for the 2019 regular season. Despite no appearances from Williams, and despite the team’s current lack of future assets, Bruce Allen and company showed no movement as time went on. In his press conference just last week, Allen declared that the Redskins were still not interested in entertaining offers for Williams.
While there have been no concrete reports of discussions, however, a new rumor has surfaced which gives credence to the notion that the Redskins might be starting to budge from their original position.
