This was expected, even if people didn't want to hear it, Jay Gruden will be the head coach of the Washington Redskins for the 2019 season. When Gruden gave his end of season presser he claimed he had not spoken to owner Dan Snyder yet. There were reports Snyder held meetings at Redskins Park until 3 am after the season finale shutout loss to the Eagles...then flew to the Bahamas.
