The offensive line has been a mess this season for the Redskins. They’re already to down to what might amount to their sixth and seventh options at the guard positions on Saturday. And now, they are losing even more depth on their already thin unit.
According to the team’s official Twitter, they have placed Austin Howard on Injured Reserve. Howard, who was waived by the Colts early in the offseason before landing with the Redskins after the injury bug wiped out many of their starters, played in five games with the ‘Skins and made one start.
