The Washington Redskins find themselves in an enviable position in the 2020 NFL Draft. They own the No. 2 overall pick in a very solid quarterback class (at least in terms of early-round talent) and could be poised to trade down if they get the right offer.
That said, there is also an elite defensive talent likely to be on the board in Ohio State’s Chase Young. The edge rusher has logged 27 total sacks in the past two seasons and figures to be a havoc-wreaking pass rusher at the NFL level.
The Redskins will likely have options on draft day but at the moment, it seems that they are favoring one outcome over the other.
