Redskins QB Case Keenum gives Dwayne Haskins vote of confidence

Case Keenum will be no more than a footnote in the Washington Redskins long and arduous quarterback history of the twenty-first century, but that isn’t entirely his fault. He’d be a valuable retainment as a backup for 2020, but Keenum has made it clear that he wants to explore other opportunities in the future. Soon to turn 32 years old, Keenum needs to use the time he has left.

Keenum started eight games for Washington in 2019. He was 1-7 as a starter for the team, but his stats were a bit more attractive, as he threw for 1,707 yards, 11 touchdowns, and five picks on over 64 percent completion.
