Washington Redskins fans have long been waiting for the team to make a long-term investment in left guard. For the past five seasons, Shawn Lauvao has been inconsistently manning the left guard position while other positions across the offensive line have stable long-term guys in Trent Williams, Morgan Moses, and Brandon Scherff.
The Redskins have needed to make a left guard upgrade for some time now and that upgrade should come in the form of a young, tough, hard-nosed football player who the Redskins can rely upon and build behind for years to come.
