The Washington Redskins are not expected to trade for Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey, according to a report.
Ramsey, one of the league’s premier corners, demanded out of Jacksonville on Monday — a day after he got into sideline confrontations with Jaguars coach Doug Marrone. The Jaguars, according to ESPN, are expected to move Ramsey and are seeking at least a first-round pick in return.
But NBC Sports Washington reported the Redskins won’t be among the teams on the pursuit.
The Redskins could certainly use a talent like Ramsey in the secondary, but there are various reasons why they are likely opting against a trade.
