Re-grading the Washington Redskins 2014 NFL Draft class

In 2014, the Washington Redskins were lacking a first-round pick in the NFL draft for a second straight year. The front office needed to score a home run in the 2014 draft if they hoped to improve their fortunes.

Today marks the halfway point as we continue our latest look at the Redskins drafts from 2010 to 2019. Early in 2014, the Burgundy and Gold hired a new head coach in Jay Gruden and an offensive coordinator – some guy named Sean McVay. Jim Haslett was retained as the defensive coordinator.

Another coaching change under the ownership of Daniel Snyder did not bring joy to the fans, but they were hopeful.
