Heading into the 2020 NFL Draft, the left tackle position was one that the Washington Redskins desperately needed help at. Trent Williams held out and missed the entirety of the 2019 NFL season. And after confirming this offseason that he wasn’t going to return to play for the team, he was traded to the San Francisco 49ers.
As a result of that move, the Redskins had little at the tackle position. Luckily for them, the 2020 NFL Draft was loaded at tackle and the squad was able to target a potential replacement with one of their mid-round picks.
