The Nationals are finally home after a successful west coast trip which saw them secure two series wins. Now they come home to face a Cubs team with an impressive 37-22 record. Nationals pitchers will have to be at their best to combat this dangerous and deep Cubs lineup.
The first pitcher that will be tasked with slowing down this Cubs offense is former Cub Trevor Williams. Williams is coming off his best outing of the season, tossing six scoreless frames against the Mariners. The Nationals lineup will stay unchanged. Davey Martinez has really been liking this all-lefty combination he has been throwing out lately.
