Washington Nationals: Nats Sweep Phillies into Oblivion

After fighting off multiple rain delays, postponements, and a double-header, the Washington Nationals swept the Phillies and are at their highest point, morality-wise, of the entire season.

The Nationals have won four consecutive games, bringing them to a 36-38 record. The last time the Nationals were two games under .500 was back on April 26. The Nats got as low as 11 games under .500 on May 23.

It has been a meteoric climb since that point when lots of Nats fans, myself included, pronounced the season all but over.

The Nationals stomped the Phillies, increasing their run differential against them to +16 in 11 games.
