Daniel Murphy started the night on Saturday with a 10-game hit streak going, over which he was 16 for 40 (.400 AVG) with two doubles, two home runs, six RBIs, one walk, and four runs scored, and he extended it to 11-straight games with a single off Miami Marlins’ right-hander Tayron Guerrero in the first at bat of the seventh.

Murphy scored the first of the two runs the Nationals put up in that inning, tying the second of three with the Fish in Washington up at 4-4 before Washington eventually lost it in ten.
