After placing 20-year-old outfielder Juan Soto on the 10-Day Injured List in the afternoon, the Washington Nationals had both Matt Adams (jammed left shoulder) and Michael A. Taylor (jammed left wrist) leave the game during the second of three with the Philadelphia Phillies in Citizens Bank Park on Saturday night, adding two more injuries to a roster that’s already struggling to get by without Trea Turner, Anthony Rendon, and Ryan Zimmerman, who are all on the IL.
Soto talked to reporters in CBP before the start of the game, explaining how he ended up on the IL with back spasms.
