Before the start of tonight’s three-game series with the Baltimore Orioles in Camden Yards, the Washington Nationals announced a number of roster moves:
-Placed INF Starlin Castro on the 10-day IL (broken right wrist)
-Selected the contract of INF Luis Garcia and added him to the 28-man roster
-Transferred LHP Sam Freeman to the 60-day IL
-Added RHP Ryne Harper as the 29th man
Starting at the bottom of that list, Harper was sent to the club’s Alternate Training site earlier today with Dakota Bacus (who made his MLB debut this afternoon) coming up to help the bullpen.
