Grapefruit League action in the FITTEAM Ballpark of the Palm Beaches in West Palm Beach, FL starts up again on Saturday, February 23, 2019 when the Washington Nationals host the Houston Astros in their shared Spring Training home. It will be the first of 15 home games the Nationals will play next Spring in their 30-game schedule (with two more games in the West Palm park as the visiting team against the Astros).
The move to the Ballpark of the Palm Beaches was made, in part, to cut down on the travel time for the Nationals, who note in today’s press release that, “combined with five visits to Roger Dean Stadium in Jupiter, Fla.
