Washington Nationals 4-2 over Miami Marlins: Bryce Harper, Adam Lind homer late on Opening Day

Bryce Harper got the Washington Nationals on the board for the first time this season with a solo home run in the bottom of the sixth, cutting the Miami Marlins’ lead to 2-1, and Adam Lind, in his first at bat with the Nationals, crushed a 2-0 fastball from Fish reliever David Phelps, sending a two-out, two-run, pinch hit blast over the GEICO sign in center in Nationals Park to put the home team up, 3-2 in the seventh.

Stephen Strasburg was impressive in his 2017 debut, pitching out of the stretch the whole way for the first time in a regular season start.
