Turner leaves game with apparent leg injury

PHILADELPHIA -- Nationals shortstop Trea Turner exited during the first inning of Saturday's game against the Phillies after he pulled up at third base with an apparent leg injury.

Wilmer Difo entered the game as a pinch-runner at third base to replace Turner, who finished in second place in the voting for National League Rookie of the Year, at shortstop in the bottom of the inning.

Turner began the game with an infield single to the shortstop and stole second base for his third stolen base of the year. After an Adam Eaton walk, Turner advanced to third on a single by Daniel Murphy.
