Soto, Harper seen as co-frontrunners for NL MVP

The National League MVP will likely be either a Washington National or a former Washington National.

Major League Baseball on Monday announced the finalists for its end-of-season awards, and the three finalists for NL MVP are Padres shortstop Fernando Tatis Jr., Nationals outfielder Juan Soto and former Nationals star and current Phillies outfielder Bryce Harper.

Sportsbetting.ag released its odds for the awards, and Soto and Harper are tied at -110. Tatis is a long shot at +1,200.

Another online betting site, FanDuel, gives Harper the edge over both Soto and Tatis.

Soto led NL position players in wins above replacement at 7.
