Erick Fedde tossed 2 2⁄3 scoreless against New York’s Mets last weekend, but right before he was set to face the Washington Nationals’ NL East rivals again last night, the 29-year-old was scratched from his scheduled outing with tightness in his right side and sent for an MRI.
It’s not thought to be serious according to reports from West Palm Beach, FL last night, but it was enough for the Nationals to pull their 2014 1st Round pick, and get a look at what it is causing the discomfort.
