The Washington Nationals have continued to create some positive momentum on the homefront with regard to their farm system and player development. Right after news broke that #5 overall prospect Alex Clemmey, a crafty lefty pitcher who had dominated High-A Wilmington was moving up to AA Harrisburg, numerous sources announced several other promotions.
Included in their wave of promotions was a handful of young talent that could push for the big leagues sooner vice later, and it began with Clemmey's promotion. He is still just 20-years-old, but he legitimately has the potential to become a Top 100 Prospect in all of baseball if he can continue to progress the way he has so far.
