He gave up two runs on four hits in seven strong innings with two strikeouts and a walk. The win also snapped Philadelphia's four-game losing skid.
Hellickson was matched by Nats right-hander Tanner Roark, who also allowed two runs on four hits in seven innings with three strikeouts in his best performance of the season.
