The San Francisco Giants have agreed to terms with outfielder Denard Span on a three-year contract, the team announced.
The deal, which is pending a physical, is worth $31 million, according to multiple reports.
Span, 31, was drafted in the first round by the Twins with the 20th pick in 2002. In five seasons with Minnesota, he posted a .357 on-base percentage.
After the 2012 season, Span was traded to the Washington Nationals.
