LOS ANGELES -- The trio of Brandon Kintzler, Ryan Madson and Sean Doolittle -- all of whom were acquired midseason a year ago -- have remained mostly reliable, but the Nationals once again find themselves seemingly short on consistent relief options.
With Madson likely unavailable on Sunday night at Dodger Stadium, the Nationals' struggle to bridge the gap from starting pitcher to the end of the game resurfaced, and it cost them as the Dodgers captured a come-from-behind 4-3 victory to pick up a series win.
