The Nationals Offense Needs To Get Going And Soon

I'm not trying to rain on anyone's parade, but the Washington Nationals offense must wake up and get going, soon. In last night's 7-6 win over the Atlanta Braves we only had 5 hits as a team. If not for a change by the official scorekeeper on Adam LaRoche's hit, which originally was scored as an error, we had 4 hits. The Nats are now batting .222 as a team after 35 games which is 29th in MLB.

We made the Braves pay for their mistakes last night with a couple of big home runs by Jayson Werth and Laynce Nix after some errors were made. So our 7 run outburst is misleading at first glance, but a win is a win and I will take them anyway we can get them, but we must start hitting.

Our pitching staff has a team ERA of 3.75 which is 14th in MLB and is way better than expected. That was supposed to be our weak link going into this season and so far it's been carrying us.
