The Huskies have secured a commitment from the son of a Husky legend, as Brandon Roy Jr. has announced he has signed with the Huskies! His Dad, of course, needs no introduction to Husky fans as he was one of the best players in program history, averaging 14.3 points per game over 4 years with the Huskies from 2002-06, and 20 points per game in 2005-06. Roy Jr., a graduate of Garfield High, stands at 6 foot 2, and is the latest in sons of former NBA players to make their college choice, in a class that includes names like Duke signees Cayden and Cameron Boozer (sons of Carlos Boozer), Northwestern commit Phoenix Gill (son of Kendall Gill) and the as yet uncommitted players like Bryce James, son of Lebron, and Nyale Robinson, son of Nate.
