Happy Saturday Husky fans. The Huskies got some welcome news today when 4 star defensive tackle T.I. Umu-Cais from Cherry Creek HS, CO committed to UW. The Huskies had long been considered one of the favorites for Umu-Cais and they needed to beat out North Carolina, Colorado, and UCLA to gain his commitment. Listed at 6’3” and around 307 pounds Umu-Cais projects as prototypical 3T defensive lineman who should be able to help the Husky defense not only stop the run but also rush the passer.
Rated as the 40th best interior defensive lineman in the country, Umu-Cais is one of top interior defensive lineman country.
