The Huskies received some great news today when 4 star defensive back Jacobe Covingto from Saguaro HS, AZ committed to UW. Covington, committed to UW over offers from LSU, Oklahoma, Michigan, and several other schools. Listed at 6’1” and around 195 pounds, Covington is rated by 247sports as the 13th best cornerback in the country. When you watch his film you see a playmaker all over the field and a player who will be able to come in and contribute right away. The Huskies continue to reload at defensive back and Covington looks to continue the DBU trend.
