The Washington Huskies today got some very good news when 4-star defensive back Jacobe Covington from Saguaro HS, AZ re-committed to UW after backing away from his commitment a few months ago. Listed at 6’1” and around 195 pounds Covington has had a stellar year for Saguaro. 247sports has him rated as the 16th best cornerback in the country.
Covington’s pledge is now the 22nd for the Huskies and 4th Defensive back. The Huskies have the top rated class in the Pac-12 and figure to end up with a top 15 class by next Wednesday. When you watch his film you can see he likes to fly around and is a playmaker on the defensive side of the ball.
