Washington and OL coach Scott Huff kept up their momentum on the recruiting trail today when Graham-Kapowsin’s Vega Ioane verbally committed to the Dawgs. Ioane becomes the 3rd offensive lineman to commit in the past month.
Ioane is listed at 6’4 and 280 pounds by 247 Sports and has a 0.8678 rating in their composite. However, 247 Sports in their internal rankings have Ioane with an 88 grade and list him as the 15th best interior offensive lineman in the 2021 class and the 8th best player from the state of Washington. Also, that height and weight listing is from over a year ago and more recent reports have Ioane at closer to 320 pounds.
