Without Green, Washington basketball falls to Stanford

Washington basketball led by as many as 12 in the game, but the Cardinal closed on a 14-1 run to win the game 61-55. The Huskies didn’t score in the final 3:40 of the game.

Stanford did a great job guarding freshman Isaiah Stewart, who had his least productive game of the season, scoring only four points on the night. Stewart missed most of the first half after picking up two early fouls, and the veteran Stanford front line did a great job neutralizing Stewart with double, and sometimes triple-teams.

Jaden McDaniels had a great night, scoring 18 points while grabbing a career-high 15 rebounds.
