The UW Women’s Basketball team were back at home on Saturday, playing against University of San Fransisco fresh off of winning the Rainbow Wahine Showdown Champions Tournament last weekend where they beat host Hawaii 58-41. Dalayah Daniels and Hannah Stines were named to the five-person All-Tournament Team and Lauren Schwartz was named Tournament MVP.
UW started this game with Jayda Nobles, Hannah Stines, Lauren Schwartz, Dalayah Daniels, and Elle Ladine. As the game started, San Francisco’s game plan was clearly to stop UW from shooting threes and were in their face relentlessly if they ever passed the ball there.
