Washington's Mills named to On3's true freshman All-American team

John Mills has it all. The true freshman stands 6-foot-6, weighs 320 pounds, and sports a blond mullet that would make even Ronnie Bass jealous. He’s also building a reputation as one of the nation’s best young offensive linemen.

On Monday, the former three-star prospect out of San Francisco’s St. Ignatius High School was named to On3’s true freshman All-American team. The honor is Mills’ third from On3, which also named Mills to its preseason and midseason teams.

It’s hard to argue against Mills’ stats. He allowed zero sacks and just eight pressures on 298 pass blocking reps, thus earning Pro Football Focus’ best pass blocking grade (84.
