The eighth-ranked Washington volleyball team swept past Cal State Northridge 3-0 on Thursday night. Match scores were 25-15, 25-11, 25-10.
The Huskies (6-0) dominated the Matadors (1-7) at the net, with a season-high 11 blocks while Northridge failed to earn a block.
Senior Lianna Sybeldon put down nine kills and added six block assists.

Dejon Coleman rushed for 125 yards and scored three touchdowns to help Dixie State to a 49-20 victory over visiting Central Washington in a nonconference game in St. George, Utah.
Defensive lineman James Adeyanju recovered a fumble in the end zone and Jake Nelson threw a 5-yard TD pass to Justin Peterson to keep the Wildcats (0-2) close.
