Washington football hires a new face on defense

A few years ago when the NCAA expanded coaching staffs to 10 positions, Washington football brought in Will Harris to help Jimmy Lake with the defensive backs. Now that Lake has been promoted to head coach, the athletic department has brought back a familiar face in Terrence Brown. His role hasn’t been specified yet, but after looking at his resume, it’s ok to assume that he’s going to help with the defensive backs.

Brown grew up in Southern California and played football at Orange Lutheran, one of the top prep schools in the area. He started for two years at cornerback at Stanford, and signed an undrafted free agent deal with the Cincinnati Bengals, but was released after two preseason games.
